Privacy policy

To use the service you create an account at panel.localberg.com, with an email address and a password, or with Google or Facebook. This is what the panel holds for it, and it holds nothing else.

• Your email address, and your password stored only as a one-way hash, if you chose one.
• Your name, if Google or Facebook sent it when you signed in.
• What you tell us about your business: its name, what it does, where it works, its website or social page, its logo, and your answers during setup.
• What the service makes for you: plans, articles, images and posts, and the figures reported back on them.
• Your payment reports: the transfer you report in the panel, which a person confirms. We never see a card number or a bank login.
• The accounts on the platforms we publish to for you, created or connected with your existing credentials, and the sign-in sessions the publishing machine keeps for them.

When you choose Continue with Google or Continue with Facebook, the provider sends us your email address, your name and an identifier for your account with them. We use these only to create your Localberg account and to sign you in.

We ask for nothing else. We do not read your contacts, your files or your posts, and we never post to your profile. Your Google or Facebook password never reaches us.

We do not sell this information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not send it to the AI models that write your content.

Localberg's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can remove Localberg from the apps connected to your Google or Facebook account at any time. That stops sign in with it. To delete the account and what it holds as well, see the last section.

Only to run the service you signed up for.

• To research your business and write, illustrate and publish your content.
• To report back what your posts did.
• To confirm your payments and keep your services running.
• To send you email about your account: the address check, the welcome, and notices about your service.

The list is short on purpose, because every name on it is a place data could go. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

• An AI model provider, which receives what you told us about your business so it can research and write your content. It does not receive your email address or your name.
• The platforms we publish to, which receive your content under your accounts on them.
• Google or Facebook, when you choose to sign in with them.
• Analytics, where it is configured, with cross-domain measurement between this site and the panel.

This marketing site sets one cookie, holding the language you chose, and only when you choose one. The panel sets one cookie that keeps you signed in, a second cookie for up to five minutes while a Google or Facebook sign in is under way, and remembers the last page you opened in your browser so it can take you back there. The cookies page has the detail.

We keep your account data while your account exists.

To have your account and everything it holds deleted, press Delete my account at the bottom of your account page in the panel, or write to hello@localberg.com from the address on the account and ask. This applies however you signed up, including with Google or Facebook. Your account closes at once; we then delete it and its data and tell you when it is done.

Content already published on other platforms stays there, under your accounts on them. You can remove it from each platform.
