Category arguments only
Localberg against the four alternatives
The four things a local business owner actually weighs instead: a hire, an agency retainer, a do-it-yourself stack, or ads. We compare the categories, not named rivals, and we quote only our own price.
All 4 services, $200 per website, per month

- Four alternatives
- One subscription
The four alternatives
Each is a legitimate way to solve the problem. What follows is what each one is, and where we differ from it as a category.
Alternative 1
In-house hire
What it is
A full-time marketer or content person on payroll.
The difference
A subscription replaces the headcount decision. A hire is a fixed cost with a management burden, and a single point of failure the day they leave.
Alternative 2
Agency retainer
What it is
A monthly retainer with a local marketing or SEO agency.
The difference
Retainers are expensive, often templated, and reported in vanity metrics. We report backlink status and click-through per post, at a resolution most clients are never given.
Alternative 3
DIY AI plus a scheduler
What it is
A generic AI writing assistant and a social scheduler, run by the owner.
The difference
The labour moves rather than disappears. Research, multi-format production, 40-platform distribution, ban monitoring and tiered link building all run without manual follow-up.
Alternative 4
Ads only
What it is
Paid search and paid social, with no organic content behind them.
The difference
Visibility stops when the budget stops. Published content and the backlinks pointing at it are an asset that accumulates instead of resetting each month.
The $200 argument
What we charge
$200a month, per website, all 4 services
That is the whole comparison we are willing to make on price: this is what we charge. Set it against a retainer or a salary using the numbers you actually pay, because those are the only figures either of us can honestly quote.
You will not find an invented agency price on this page.
The modular ladder
Test at low commitment before expanding.
- One service
- $59
- Each service after that
- $50
- All 4
- $200
A cautious buyer starts with the service that hurts most and adds the rest once it has earned them. Priced per website, per month, with no volume discount.
Decision criteria, in the order buyers use them
Not the order a vendor would prefer. This is the sequence the question actually gets asked in.
1
Time saved relative to price
Does this genuinely take marketing off the owner's plate, or only relocate it?
2
Transparent proof, per post
Backlink status and click-through per post, and a derived 8-30 visitors a day reaching the customer's own website, rather than a monthly summary.
3
Confidence about account bans
Standing ban monitoring, retry queues and account rotation. No bans since the rework, stated as history rather than as a guarantee.
4
Fit with your market's language
The pipeline produces English, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian output.
Side by side

When people switch
Three triggers come up again and again in the conversations that end in a subscription.
1
A competitor is publishing constantly while their own presence has gone stale.
2
A freelancer or an agency stopped delivering, or delivered work that reads like a template.
3
A slow sales period traced back to being invisible online.
Common questions
How does this compare to hiring a part-time content writer?
A writer produces text. The subscription covers the research, the article, 7 derived formats, daily publishing across 40 platforms, link building and the reporting. It is also a subscription rather than a person to brief, manage and one day replace.
I already have an agency for SEO. Does this replace it or complement it?
Either, and you decide which. Because the services are sold separately, an agency client can keep the agency for technical and on-site work and take distribution and link building here. Nothing in the pipeline requires exclusivity.
Can I use Localberg alongside my own content efforts?
Yes. Every format is downloadable and editable, and you can buy creation without distribution if you would rather publish yourself. Your own posts and ours accumulate on the same website.
Why is there no named competitor comparison here?
Because we cannot verify another company's current prices, scope or delivery quality, and a comparison built on guesses is not evidence. The categories are what a buyer is choosing between, so the categories are what we argue about.
Compare it against what you pay now
